Ingredients:  
1 c margarine
2 c brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c flour
2 c rolled oates
2 c coconut
1/2 tsp soda
pinch of salt

Date Filling: cook dates until they look like jam.
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl.Roll in to
balls and flatten with a fork. Bake at 350 º oven.
Put together with the date filling after the cookies have cooled.
