2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup butter or margarine
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup buttermik
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and sugar in a large bowl and set aside. In a saucepan combine and bring to boil the waer, oil, butter and cocoa. Pour over dry ingredients. While hot, use mediu speed on mixer and beat. Then add baking soda, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. (Mixture will be very thin.) Pour into 15x10x1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 400ºF for 18 to 20 minutes. When cake has been baking 15 minutes, prepare the frosting.
