iceberg lettuce, chopped
celery, chopped,
green onions, sliced thinly
frozen green peas
sliced water chestnuts
layer of mayonnaise or miracle whip
cheddar cheese, grated
bacon bits, real, not imitation
croutons

Directions:
Directions:
In a 9" x 13" glass dish, layer the ingredients, in the order listed. Stop after the mayonnaise.
Cover w/plastic wrap and chill several hours.
Sprinkle over bacon bits, then cheese. Serve.
