1 large onion
1 qt. (unpeeled) cucumbers
1 red or green (or both) peppers
1 tbsp. salt
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
1/3 tsp. turmeric

Directions:
Ground up cucumber and peppers.
Mix onion, salt, cucumbers and peppers and let stand for 3 hours - DO NOT add water - drain in colander.
Then continue to add the rest of the ingredients.
Pour only enough vinegar to cover.
Cook 15 minutes on stove top.
Put into hot jars and seal.
