1 lb fresh green beans
4-6 tomatoes, peeled and minced
1/2 c. olive oil
2 cloves fresh garlic, peeled and minced
1-2 tsp sweet basil
1/4 tsp salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute tomatoe bits, garlic and basil in olive oil. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Wash the beans, remove stems and cook in boiling water for 7-10 minutes till tender. Drain and briefly rinse the beans; place in a serving bowl. Pour tomato mixture over the beans and toss to coat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve right away, or leave to marinate with the tomato mix for 10 minutes.
