3 1/2 c. Quaker Oats (uncooked)
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
1/3 c. honey, corn syrup, or molasses
1 egg beaten
1/2 tsp. salt

Toast oats in ungreased large shallow baking pan in 350º oven for 15 - 20 minutes. Combine with remaining ingredients; mix well. Press firmly into well greased pan. Bake in a pre-heated 350º oven about 20 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
