1/2 c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c sour cream

Topping:
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c chopped pecans or walnuts
Mix ingredients well.
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º - Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and beat well. Alternate dry ingredients and sour cream. Put 1/2 of the batter in a greased and floured tube pan, then 1/2 the topping. Then rest of batter and rest of topping. Bake for 50 minutes until done

In place of topping you can use pie filling....3/4 can apple, cherry, blueberry, peach....
