1 cup butter
1/3 cup white sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla or any flavor extract you desire
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325. Mix well the butter, sugar, water and extract. Add the flour and nuts and mix well again. Form into balls and place onto un-greased cookie sheet and flatten with a sugared glass, bake for 20 minutes. These can be made without nuts for plain Sandies.
