1 onion, chopped
1 ½ pounds ground beef
½ pound ground pork sausage (hot)
1 to 6 small cans tomato paste
¼ cup olive oil
garlic cloves
½ tsp sage
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp basil
1 to 2 can whole tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in oil, add a few whole garlic cloves-remove after 10 minutes and discard. Add meat and brown. Drain off excess grease. Put whole tomatoes in large bowl and squash with hands. Add to cooked meat, tomato paste, tomatoes and spices. Fill each paste can with water and add. Cover & simmer 2 hours. Can be frozen. Can add red wine, 1 cup grated carrots or mushrooms. Great with ridged penne or spaghetti.
