1 large head cabbage
1 tbsp salt
1 ½ c. sugar
2/3 c. vinegar
½ c. water
4 stalks chopped celery
¼ c. chopped onions
1 green pepper, chopped
½ tsp. celery seed
½ tsp. mustard seed
½ tsp. dry mustard

Shred cabbage. Add salt and set aside for 2 hours. Mix sugar, vinegar, and water. Boil for 1 minute. Let cool. Add other vegetables to cabbage. Pour liquid over cabbage. Store in covered container or freeze.
