Topping
- 1 cup - brown sugar
- 1 cup - rolled oats
- 3/4 cup - all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp - salt
- 1/2 cup - butter - chilled, cut into cubes

Filling
- 2 - 12oz bags - cranberries - fresh or frozen
- 1 1/4 lbs - apples ( 3 - 4) - golden delicious, or granny smith - peeled, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups - granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp - apple juice

Preheat oven 375º F

Topping
- combine dry ingredients in a bowl, add butter
- crumble with your hands till it forms medium sized crumbs
- store in fridge while preparing filling

Filling
- in a saucepan combine filling ingredients
- bring to a boil over medium heat stirring occasionally
- cook about 5 minutes, or until fruit is tender and sauce slightly thickened

- in a greased 9 x 13 pan sprinkle 1/2 the crumb
- pour filling over top
- sprinkle rest of crumb
- bake 40 minutes
- cool 10 minutes
- serve with vanilla ice cream
