1/4 cup butter, melted
3 cups thinly sliced carrots
1 onion, chopped
8 oz sliced mushrooms
3 quart chicken broth
1 bay leaf
2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp.pepper
2 cups cooked chicken
2 cups noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Cook carrots, onion, celery, and mushrooms in butter. Add chicken broth, bay leaf, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in chicken and noodles. Cook 8-10 minutes. Be sure to remove bay leaf before serving. I use chicken from the deli and take it off the bone.
