Ingredients:
Ingredients:
rustichella de’abruzzo fusilli
jumbo or extra large pitted black olives
pre-made marinara sauce of choice (I like butoni or ragu)
yellow bell peppers – sliced and cut into little squares (to place inside olives to create “eyeballs”)

Directions:
Directions:
This is a Halloween favorite. No cooking for Mom. And pre-schoolers love assembling the “eyeballs” (I put out a flat tray, a bowl of olives and a bowl of the yellow pepper pieces).

To serve, put out a bowl of cooked fusilli (the “brains”), a bowl of heated Marinara and the tray of “eyeballs.” Kids love serving themselves with this recipe and it’s actually realistic for them! Let them use tongs to put the “brains” on a plate, give them a small ladle for the “blood” and they can use their fingers to place the “eyeballs” on top!

Fun idea: Mix some fusilli and oil in a bowl. Blind fold kids and ask them to touch it to guess what it is!
