1 lb. ground beef
1 cup thinly sliced carrots
1 cup chopped celery
1 pkg. (1 oz.) dry onion soup mix
1 pkg. (1 oz.) dry Italian salad dressing mix
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
3 cups boiling water
1 can (141/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef until no longer pink, stirring to break up. Drain fat. Place carrots and celery in slow cooker. Top with beef, soup mix, dressing mix, seasoned salt and pepper. Add water, tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce and soy sauce; mix well. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Stir in Parmesan cheese 15 to 30 minutes before serving.

This is Tim's favorite soup. The original recipe called for 2 cups cooked macaroni to be stirred in with the Parmesan cheese, but we prefer to leave it out.
