1 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 Cups Flour
1 tsp soda
11/2 Cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
11/2 cups cooking oil
1 oz red food coloring
2 eggs
2 tsp cocoa
1 tsp vinegar

Icing:
1 Box confectionery sugar
1 - 8 oz pack of cream cheese
1 stick of oleo
1 tsp vanilla

bake at 350 for 35 minutes for layer cake pan (length of time in oven depends if it is layered cake pan or 9x13 pan will take longer)
