2 C. Fresh Cranberries
1/2 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Chopped Walnuts or Pecans

Topping:
2 Eggs
1 C. Sugar
1 C. Flour
1 Stick Butter (melted)
1/4 C. Shortening (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Spread Cranberries in a well-greased 10" pie plate. Sprinkle with 1/2 Cup Sugar and Nuts. In a mixing bowl, beat two eggs. While beating gradually add 1 Cup Sugar. Beat until sugar is well dissolved and mixture is light lemon in color (3-5 minutes). Add flour, butter and shortening. Mix until blended. Pour batter over cranberries. If your pie plate has low sides do not overfill.

Baking:
Bake at 325º for 1 hour in the middle shelf. If the topping becomes too brown, cover with aluminum foil for the last 15 minutes.
