3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2/3 cup minced onion
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
dash pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
4 (or more) medium potatoes, thinly sliced
paprika on top

Directions:
Directions:
In medium size pan cook onions in butter till tender. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper till blended. Gradually stir in milk and cook stirring constantly till it thickens.

Layer 1/2 the potatoes in a bigger casserole dish. Pour 1/2 the milk mixture over the potatoes. Layer the rest of the potatoes and then the milk mixture.

Bake at 375 covered 45 minutes.
