1 lb. ground beef 1 T. chopped green pepper
2-8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 C. cottage cheese 1/2 C.green onion chopped
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 8 oz. noodles
1/2 C sour cream 2 T. melted butter, opt.

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat; drain excess fat (rinse in hot water to lower fat content). Stir in tomato sauce. Mix cottage cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. Add green pepper and green onion. Cook noodles; drain. Make a layer of half the noodles in a buttered 9 x 13 casserole. Layer half the cheese mixture, then half the meat sauce. Repeat layers. If desired , drizzle butter over top. Bake at
350 for 20 to 45 minutes, until bubbling. May be made and refrigerated overnight. NOTE: This can be made with all fat-free cheeses.
