6 cooking apples, peeled and thinly sliced
(I use Granny Smith apples)
5 slices white bread, cut off edges and cut into fingers
1 egg
1 stick margarine
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbs. cornstarch or 2 Tbs. flour
cinnamon to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Spray 9 X 9 casserole dish with Pam. Place sliced apples into dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Arrange bread fingers on top of apples. Mix egg, sugar, flour and melted margarine. Pour over top of bread. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
