3 eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1 C. corn syrup 1/4 c. melted butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 C. chopped pecans
Combine all ingredients and beat by hand. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350º for 40 to 50 minutes or until sides are firm but middle will still be a little loose when you gently shake the pan.
You may add 1/3 c. chocolate chips for a "chocolate pecan pie".
