2 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
4 T. cocoa
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. shortening
1 C. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to a boil margarine, shortening, water and cocoa.
Sift sugar and flour together. Pour boiling mixture into
flour mixture and beat. Stir together soda and buttermilk
and add to chocolate mixture. Beat in eggs and add vanilla.

Pour into 9x13 greased pan and bake at 300 for 45 minutes.
Frost with Shock Cake Icing
