1 lb. hamburger, browned
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium size can sauerkraut, drained
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup RAW shell macaroni
salt and pepper to taste

Mix in casserole, cover and bake at 350º for one hour.

This recipe originally came from my Mother but now many in our family use it. Most of us do not use RAW (uncooked) pasta. I usually use macaroni or egg noodles and cook them first. If you do that you would only need one can of soup and probably bake for 45 minutes.
