1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Blend shortening, sugar and peanut butter. Add eggs, then sifted dry ingredients. Beat well; mix in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.
