1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp sugar - for top

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter & sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Sift dry ingredients & add milk & vanilla mixture alternatively with butter mixture.
Mash 1/2 cup blueberries & add by hand. Wet & coat remaining blueberries with flour & add to mixture by hand. Grease bread pan & bake for 45 min. Cool in pan 30 min before removing.
