1/3 cup boiling water
2 cups shredded carrots
2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Pour boiling water on carrots, add rest or the ingredients and bake at 350 for 45 - 50 minutes if in a 9x13 pan. Or 20 - 25 minutes for muffins.
