2/3 c. flour
½ tsp. baking powder
½ c. chopped walnut meats
1/3 c. shortening
2 squares chocolate or 2 T. cocoa
1 c. sugar
2 eggs (well beaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix and sift baking powder, flour and salt. Stir in nuts. Cream shortening until soft.
Beat sugar, eggs, vanilla and chocolate. Stir in flour mixture.
Bake in 8" x 8" greased lined pan for 30 minutes
