Italian Chili Recipe

1 - #1 can Pinto Beans
2 - #1 cans Kidney Beans
1 pound Italian Sausage
1/2 cup green pepper (chopped)
3/4 cup sliced ripe olives
minced onion
3 cup (large can) chopped tomatoes
salt and pepper
3/4 tsp. crushed Oregano
3/4 tsp sweet Basil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder or 1-2 cloves crushed
Parmesan Cheese

Drain and rinse beans and put into slow cooker, or large kettle.
Brown sausage with onion and green pepper. Add to beans along with olives, tomatoes and seasonings. Add Parmesan cheese and mix well.
If using slow cooker, cover and cook on high 1 hour, then on low 7 - 8 hours. If cooking on stove, cook 2 - 3 hours on low heat.
