1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
3 cups flour
3 T. Cream (sour)
1 t. baking powder
1/8 t. salt
1/8 t. soda
1/2 cup chopped almonds
2 eggs
1/4 t. cardamon

Cream sugar and butter; add slightly beaten egg; add sour cream and nuts. Sift flour, add baking powder, soda and salt. Roll in 4 long narrow loaves. Bake in 350 oven for 20 minutes. Only do one pan at a time. Slice about 1/2 inch thick and dry quickly in 350 oven for 15 minutes.

Roll in sugar.
