"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Vinegar, white or cider
Fresh Ground Pepper
Garlic Salt
Jar of favorite BBQ sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Have the butcher trim most but not all fat from fresh ham. "Mop" ham with lots of vinegar and generously cover with pepper and garlic salt. Put in roasting pan and cover with heavy duty aluminum foil.

Bake at 200 degrees for at least 10 HOURS!!

Serve on large platter so everyone can "pick" what they want from the ham. Include lots of BBQ sauces and mustards.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Karen and her husband, Bob, are Orr's Pond neighbors of Suzanne and R.C. She is a great cook and a gracious hostess and is known for her "Pickin Pork" during New Year celebrations. Bob is great on the grill, too!
