2 egg whites if large room temp
1/4 tsp. cream tartar
3 Tbsp. powdered sugar (per egg)

Beat egg whites until frothy, add cream of tartar, beat until stiff, add powdered sugar a tablespoon at a time. Pile on top of filling!
Helpful hint! Using a knife, mark off 6 slices in the pie before baking pie. This will eliminate the meringues from sticking to the knife when trying to cut later.
