8 ounces red wine (can be cheap wine) 1/2 cup lemon juice 8 ounces medium strong tea 1 cup raspberry or strawberry juice 1/2 cup white rum 1/2 sugar gingerale - to taste 1 cup berries (optional)
Bring lemon juice, tea, juice to almost a boil and than add sugar, stir until sugar dissolved. Remove and cool add red wine and rum. When ready to serve add ice, berries (or frozen berries) and ginger ale to punch. Just keep doubling the recipe till you the amount of punch you want.
This is a nice alternative to regular orange/pineapple punch.
