"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali
This recipe for Cocoa Mix, by Melissa Martin, is from The Martin Family Cookbook ,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Mix all ingredients until thoroughly combined. Store in airtight container. For one serving, place 1/3 c. cocoa mixture in cup or mug. Add 3/4 c. boiling water. Place mix in pretty jar and tie a ribbon around it and put a little card stating how to heat it. Makes great gifts!
