"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
1lb ground beef 1 can kidney beans 1 can of tomatoes 1 medium onion 1 green pepper chopped Chili-O seasoning or add cumin and chili powder in a fairly large quantity
Cook 1 lb ground beef in one skillet; drain. Cook onions and green peppers in a large sauce pan. Add the ground beef, a can of kidney beans and a can of tomatoes. She used Chili-O seasoning when she could get it, but you can add cumin and chili powder in a fairly large quantity. Cook this on top of the stove for about an hour.
I cut this recipe down to a manageable amount ages ago. Mom used to make it with 5 lbs of ground beef.
