1 pound lean round steak
1 tablespoon paprika
2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 cup green onions, sliced in 1-inch pieces
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon white wine
1 teaspoon sugar
1 or 2 green peppers
2 large fresh tomatoes, cut in eighths

Pound steak to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut 1/4 width strips or into small pieces. Sprinkle meat with paprika and allow to stand for 15 minutes while preparing other ingredients. Add oil to wok or large pan and saute garlic. Add steak and cook until browned. Add broth; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in onions and peppers. Cover and cook for 5 more minutes. Blend cornstarch, wine, sugar, soy sauce, and enough water to achieve desired consistency. Stir into meat mixture. Cook, stirring until clear and thickened. Add tomatoes and serve over rice.
