1/2 pound butter
1 cup sugar
4 egg yolks
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk

Topping:
4 egg whites-- beaten stiff
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Add egg yolk and beat well. Add flour and baking powder (sifted 3 times). Alternate with milk, a little at a time, Pour batter in oblong pan.

Topping:
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add powdered sugar (a little at a time). Spread over batter and add nuts.

Bake 35-40 minutes on 350º. Cool completely cut with glass rim. Use 1/2 of glass rim to make 1/2 moons.
