1 c raisins (boiled till soft)
1/2 c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs beaten
2/3 c sour milk
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp chives
3 c flour

Mix and bake till brown

º350 degrees, This was a special batch of cookies Mom made and all of us kids loved it. I remember she gave me the recipes and I was so excited, I made a triple batch. They were horrible. I forgot to boil the raisins first. Be sure and do that or they won't be good.
