1 pound Lard or Crisco
6 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
4 egg yolks beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup warm Milk
2 packages dry yeast
1 tbs. sugar

1 jar raspberry jam
Powdered Sugar to dust cool cookies

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour salt and lard like pie dough [small pea like texture].
Dissolve yeast into warm [NOT HOT] milk, add sugar and let rise in small bowl

Mix egg yolks, sour cream, and add into cooled milk/yeast mixture.
Then, add to flour mixture and mix to form soft dough. Do not make dough too soft, since you need to roll this dough. You may have to add flour to the dough as needed.

Roll dough into a 9'" x15", square about 1/8"-1/4 " thick, on floured surface. Cut large square into smaller 1 -1/2 " squares. Add 1 teaspoon jam to center of the square and fold opposite corners over the center of the square.

Place cookies on parchment paper on cookie sheet.

Bake 10 minutes in 350 degree oven
Dust with Powdered Sugar when cool
Store in tight fitting container
