Date Rollups Recipe

2 cups cut up dates
1 beaten egg
1 stick butter or margarine
cup sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
2 cups rice krispies
1 tsp vanilla
Nuts (ground up) or use shredded coconut
Or both


Combine dates, egg, butter, sugar. Cook together
In large saucepan for a few minutes. Add remaining ingredients.
Combine well and let cool
Form into balls. Roll in ground nuts or coconut
