1 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp. molasses
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cloves

Glaze:
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream in margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and molasses. Add combined dry ingredients. Mix well. Chill 4 hours or overnight. Roll out dough on floured surface to 1/8 inch thick. Cut with floured cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet.

Glaze:
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. milk

Mix well. brush on cookies. Allow to dry.

* Can be tinted with food coloring.
