1 c raisins
1 c sugar granulated
1 c brown sugar
2 sticks margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 c flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 c nuts
1/2 c coconut (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cover raisins with water and boil five minutes. Drain and save the water. Cream brown and white sugar with margarine. Beat in eggs, then add raisins and vanilla.
Sift together flour, cinnamon & salt. Add soda to one third cup of raisin water. Add alternately with flour to creamed mixture. I usually add nuts and coconut. Pour into greased 10x15 jelly roll pan. Bake about 30 minutes at 350º. Cut while warm.
