2 bunches broccoli
14 oz. chicken broth
3 T. butter
2 medium onions, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
sour cream
salted peanuts, chopped

Directions:
Trim tuff ends and cut off floweretts in bite size pieces. Coarsely chop stems and set aside. Bring 1 cup broth to a boil and add half of floweretts and boil uncovered for 3 or 4 minutes, or until just tender. Drain and save broth. Cool broccoli and save to garnish. In same pan, melt butter over medium heat, add onions and curry; cook till limp. Put in rest of broccoli stems and floweretts and rest of broth. Cover and simmer for 12 minutes or until tender. Whirl part of mixture in the blender till smooth. Cover and chill. Garnish.
