1 stick butter
1 3/4 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 c water
1/2 tsp soda
3 c flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1/3 tsp salt
2 # dates
1 # candied pineapple
1# candied cherries
1 # chopped pecans

Directions:

Cut fruit and pecans. Put in very very large bowl. Flour fruit so it won't stick together.

Cream first 4 ingredients.

Sift together flour and spices.

Mix water and soda together.

Add flour mixture to creamed ingedients. Add water mixture slowly to make batter more fluid.

Pour batter over prepared fruit. Mix and drop by teaspoon. Bake at 325 20-25 min.

Cookies will not look done on top. Check the bottom of the cookies.
