1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can baked beans (28 oz)(Mom preferred Bush's)
1 can diced tomatoes(14 oz)
1 pkg Chili seasoning
minced onion, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream for garnishing the finished product

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy stock pot, heat a little oil, and saute the onion for 2 minutes. Add the ground meat, and brown thoroughly. Add the baked beans and the tomatoes. (do not drain them). stir in the chili seasoning mix, mix well, and simmer,covered, for 45 minutes to an hour. Serve with crusty bread, such as sour dough. Place minced onion, cheddar cheese, and sour cream on the side for garnish.
