3 cups flour-can use some whole wheat if preferred
1& 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt per cup
3 tbsp. sugar
12 oz beer

Mix beer into dry ingredients and bake at 350 for one hour in a buttered loaf pan. Cool and serve.
