1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sour milk mixed with
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup raisins boiled and chopped
1 cups pastry flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Mix ingredients in order given. Add 1/2 cup flour to raisins before mixing. Add 1/2 cup walnut, citron, cherries, orange or lemon peel if desired. Bake 350 degrees.
