1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed bananas (about 3)
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
ICING
1 cup powdereed sugar
1 tbsp butter
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 to 2 tbsp half and half or milk

Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, bananas, and vanilla; mix well. Stir in sour cream. Add combined dry ingredients and raisins to creamed mixture; stir until well blended. Spoon batter into greased pan. Use 9-inch bundt pan, 6 1/2 c. ringmold, or spring form pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with icing. ICING, melt butter and add sifted powdered sugar, salt and vanilla. Add half and half or milk to make icing proper consistency.
