2 pounds lean stew beef
salt, pepper, and paprika
2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix
10 to 12 small potatoes
4 to 6 small whole onions
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 cup water
2 cups red wine
6 to 10 carrots, quartered
1 pound fresh mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Season meat with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion soup mix. Place meat in a large oven-proof pot. Add vegetables. Blend celery soup with water and wine. Pour over meat. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 4 to 5 hours. Add more water if needed.
