Chocolate Oatmeal Bars Recipe

1 C butter
2 C brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 C flour
1 tsp salt
3 C oatmeal
Middle layer:
1- 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
1- 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 T butter
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla

Combine and pat 2/3 of the mixture into 9x13 inch pan that's been greased and floured. Melt all ingredients for middle layer in microwave. Stir every minute. Pour over mixture in pan. Crumble rest of oatmeal mixture over the top. Bake 350 for 20-25 min.
