4 tbsp butter
1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
1 med onion
1 1/2 lb round steak
2 C beef boullion
1 tsp brown gravy flavoring
6 tbsp shortening
3 tbsp worchestershire sauce
3 tbsp tomato paste
6 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 bay leaf
1 C sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add mushrooms and bay leaf, cook 3 min. Remove mushroom and add onion, cook til yellow. Cube steak, roll in flour, salt and pepper. Melt shortening in skillet, brown meat. Sprinkle remaining flour over meat, add boullion, stir til thick. Add gravy flavor, mushrooms, onion, Worchestershire and tomato paste. Cover, cook over low heat 1 hour. 10 minutes before serving, stir in sour cream. Serve on noodles or rice.
