1 hen
1 ½ cup chopped celery
1 ½ cup chopped onions
1 tsp. sage (or more to your taste)
1 tbsp. black pepper
1 stick margarine
4 boiled eggs
1 skillet cornbread
6 slices of bread or biscuits, crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken until tender. Season with salt and pepper. Cook celery, onions, sage, and peppers on top of stove. Crumble cornbread and biscuits (or loaf bread) in a large baking pan. Add melted butter. Pour hot celery mixture over bread and mix well. Add broth until bread is moist and mixture is soupy. Chop boiled eggs and add to mixture. (Chicken can be added at this time or served separately) Bake at 400 for 20 to 30 minutes.
Giblet gravy to serve with above dressing:
